One of the best breweries in town, and definitely my favorite brewery to hang out at! Moonzen feels like it's a modern craft brewery tucked into an ancient Hu Tong.
Located on the second floor of an industrial building in Kwun Tong, Moonzen is just a few minutes walk from the MTR. It's not easy to find, but it's well worth the trip! They open the brewery every Friday and Saturday evening (check the hours, especially with Covid!) to offer tours, all-you-can-drink tastings and general hanging out.
Most nights, there are 6-8 beers on tap, and it's not uncommon to see the crew roll out a new keg when one is empty and lately there have been non-beer offerings like the Dancing Lion Cider which are nice for the non-gluten crowd.
Aside from the brew tour, the brewery has a big low-lit tasting room where they project old Kung Fu films onto the wall.
The entrance fee is $250, which will get you an empty glass and free reign to fill it up until they kick you out. It's a good deal.
While the brewery doesn't offer food, there is a pizza place downstairs that delivers and offers a small discount.
The beer is good and plentiful. With that many on tap, there is always something new to try and something for everyone.

Below are some helpful hints to find the brewery once you've arrived at New East Sun Industrial Center in Kwun Tong (it's on Google Maps).
Yes, this is the entrance to the building. Walk under (or to the right) of the sign and all the way back.
You want to enter the lit parking area above, and keep walking to the back left corner where there is a small ramp up.
At the top of the ramp you'll find the above lifts. Take one up to the second floor. You'll need to push and hold the "door close" button until the lift fully closes... Moonzen is out of the lift to the left. Enjoy!
